In addition to the installation instructions shipped with the unit these steps are provided for the Dewalt DW718.

1. Locate the fixed depth stop on the right side of the saw as shown.

2. Install the depth stop bracket and tighten gently.

3. The thick end of the wedge on the inside of the bracket will be at the bottom
Remove the tape cover and install the B-20 bracket at the top of the black blade guard as shown below.

4.Follow the installation instructions that came with the unit to set up the wood to align the laser.
Make sure that the laser does not interfere with the blade guard activation arm on the left side of the saw.
The laser should be mounted as close to the top of the bracket as possible. The laser will need to be moved
to the left using the horizontal adjustment to make sure that laser will be behind the blade. Always dry fit the
laser to make sure that the alignment is correct before using the adhesive. Use a marker to mark the alignment of the
laser to the bracket so that it will be easier to locate the position again.

and the dust chute.
